Okay I finally got caught up on my blog...well almost. Here's pictures from Tatum's 3rd birthday. We had a firetruck theme...since anyone who knows my kid is obsessed with firetrucks right now. We had a blast. We had at a park nearby under a big pavillon and I have to say having it at a park was such a great plan. We had coloring tables set up for the kids to color firemen and firetrucks, we had a fun firetruck pinata for them to whack at (of course I love how my kid holds the baseball bat upside down...you'll see from the pic below), we also rented a fun bounce house that the kids had a blast in too. The big suprise came for the kids around 10:45 a.m. Sirens and all the firetruck pulled up. The kids were so cute all lined up waiting for it with their little fireman hats on. Some of them were even holding hands...how cute is that! The truck pulled up and Tatum's face was like in total shock. He couldn't believe there was one right there and the kids got to get on it and play in the seat and they even took us around the block a couple of times in it. It's not every day a kid gets to ride a real firetruck! They loved it! Of course Lindsey and me started the kids off on the song, "The wheels on the firetruck go round and round," then we just made up random versus! Kids had fun singing and acting it out! Then we got back and ate some pizza and had some adorable cupcakes that my neighbor made! They were little dalmation dogs and some were little water hoses with fire flames around it! It was such a fun day for Tatum. I can't believe my little man is 3 now! Thanks for all his little friends for coming out and all the sweet Happy Birthday messages from friends and family.
